String Theory

This seems to be a much debated topic. Maybe to settle things down, the opinion of an expert is required... A friend of mine did a science fair project about string theory, and she went up to the CWSF. But I think even her has mixed feelings about the topic! Jpdemers 14:24, 15 December 2007 (EST)

Oh, it's just an on going joke - as an Astronomer, we are very suspicious of string theory, and in many cases, call it a non-science - thus I make fun of it regularly. Nadia, a mathematician on the other hand, has always argued about the beauty (*cough*) of string theory, and thus, has been an ardent defender of the model. But, as many an astronomer says, "I have friends who talk to string theorists." :) Mubdi 03:50, 16 December 2007 (EST)
