Promotional Material

  • Post-it pads win! . . . unless we find two more people for stress balls
  • These will only be given to the CWSF students
  • We need to produce something that can be given to the 50 000 regional science fair students
  • Judging Feedback forms with info on Stepping Up on them?
    • Investigate possibility and get feedback from regional fair coordinators to see if they will use it (Mubdi)

Editing the Guide

  • Go to the “list of pages to fix for the January” release and indicate that you have changed anything on a page just to keep track
  • If you have technical problems with Wiki or want to write it in Word document and later put it on Wiki, ask Mubdi
  • Feel free to add your name to the author lists

Responsibilities for Sections (a.k.a people being “volun-told” by Mubdi :P)

  • Refer to focus group notes for details on what improvements need to be made to the sections

Timeline

  • Mubdi will be re-designing guide and will have samples for next call
  • Release will be around end of January
  • First half of January focuses on editing old sections
  • Second half of January on writing new sections

Alumni going to CWSF for Promotion and Content Development

  • Goal to have 5-6 alumni will be going to the CWSF
  • “Stepping Up Booth” during set up with alumni to answer questions
  • Have alumni go around after judging to the booths and put a “Tip” on the Stepping Up Post-it
  • Alumni Dinner : )
  • Ideas:
    • Prepare two boards – one “good”, other with “mistakes” for participants to see
    • T-shirts for Stepping Up Guide Crew
